With a scale of 1:250,000 this map shows all the major roads and tiny towns in southern Norway (by far the most traveled area). Much better scale than the 1:1,250,000 Michelin map. It is a little hard to read the small print on the green (mountains) background. And you can easily see herein the amazing number of bodies of water in Norway.After using this map in Norway recently, I am downgrading to 3 stars for two reasons:1. The map is quite fragile and easy to tear.2. The most useful part of the map--showing Oslo and surrounds--can only be accessed by unfolding the whole HUGE map, making it even easier to rip when re-folding.
The scale of this map provided substantial additional detail about rural roads in Norway and greatly enhanced our ability to tour Norway's roads by car. We also have a smaller scale map (1:1,500,000) that was not as useful, but was much easier to handle. This map is so large as to be somewhat unwieldy, which is the reason for four stars instead of five.

The map arrived promptly and is clear and detailed - a valuable asset for planning my summer road trip in Europe.
good map, but it would have been nice to know how they defined "SUD" before i bought it , as they stopped before Balestrand
The size of this map makes it way too big and impractical to use both at home and while traveling plus the paper tears easily. For the motor trip I am taking I also need a Norway North map. Won't even consider trying to use the two maps together (Norway South and Norway North). I thought of cutting the maps into sections to make them more usable but that won't work either. A usable road map of Norway has alluded my extensive search. Norway South was my last try. I will wait knowing I can find the map I need when I get to Norway.
It doesn't show the fjord area. I, like most tourists, plan to visit the fjords. Not helpful to me.
